Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 5th July at 395.33 points higher at 52,880.00. Nifty ended 112.15 points higher at 15,834.35.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 2nd July at 166.07 points higher at 52,484.67. Nifty ended 42.20 points higher at 15,722.20.
Hindalco Industries, ONGC, SBI, Tata Steel and Coal India were among the top gainers on the Nifty. Top losers were HDFC Life, Tech Mahindra, Dr Reddy’s Labs, BPCL and Britannia Industries.
