Mumbai: Sensex closed on 26th September 2019 at 396.22 points higher at 38,989.74. Similarly, Nifty too ended 133.10 points higher at 11,573.30.
Top gainers on the indices included Vedanta, Coal India, M&M, Zee Entertainment and IOC. While Yes Bank, Infosys, HUL, HCL Tech and Wipro were among the top losers today.
In the previous season on Wednesday Sensex closed at 503.62 points lower at 38,593.52. Similarly, Nifty too ended 148.00 points down at 11,440.20. The rupee was trading at 71.941 against the dollar.
