Mumbai: The benchmark indices on Thursday ended the day on a positive note by breaking two-day losing streak.
Sensex ended 405.53 points higher at 65,631.57, whereas Nifty concluded 109.65 points up at 19,545.75.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 286.06 points lower at 65,226.04, whereas Nifty concluded 92.65 points down at 19,436.10.
Bajaj Auto, Larsen & Toubro, Titan Company, M&M and TCS were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Power Grid Corporation, Hindalco Industries, Cipla, NTPC and Nestle India.
