Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Thursday. Sensex closed on July 16, 2020 at 419.87 points higher at 36,471.68. Nifty ended 113.80 points high at 10,732.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 15, 2020 at 18.75 points higher at 36,051.81. Nifty ended 10.85 points high at 10,618.20.
Infosys, BPCL, Cipla, M&M and Britannia Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Bharti Infratel, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Zee Entertainment and IOC.
