Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended lower on Wednesday. Sensex closed on July 29, 2020 at 421.82 points lower at 38,071.13. Nifty ended 97.70 points high at 11,202.85.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 28, 2020 at 558.22 points higher at 38,492.95. Nifty ended 168.75 points high at 11,300.55.
Reliance Industries, M&M, HCL Technologies, Hero MotoCorp and Nestle were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Dr Reddys Labs, Tata Steel, Grasim, Bharti Infratel and IndusInd Bank.
