Indian equity indices ended on negative note on November 21.
Sensex ended 422.59 points lower at 77,155.79, whereas Nifty concluded 168.60 points down at 23,349.90.
Biggest Nifty losers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, SBI Life Insurance, NTPC and SBI, while gainers included Power Grid Corp, UltraTech Cement, Hindalco Industries, HCL Tech and Grasim Industries.
Indian rupee ended at fresh record low at 84.50 per dollar on Thursday versus Tuesday’s close of 84.41.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 239.38 points higher at 77,578.38, whereas Nifty concluded 64.70 points up at 23,518.50.
