Mumbai: Sensex closed on February 19, 2020 at 428.62 points higher at 41,323.00. Similarly, Nifty ended 133.40 points up at 12,125.90.
Bharti Infratel, Grasim Industries, Coal India, HUL and Zee Entertainment were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Tata Motors, JSW Steel, Sun Pharma, TCS and Bharti Airtel.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on February 18, 2020 at 161.31 points lower at 40,894.38. Similarly, Nifty ended 53.30 points down at 11,992.50.
The rupee is trading at 71.483 against the dollar.
