Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Thursday. Sensex closed on July 2, 2020 at 429.25 points higher at 35,843.70. Nifty ended 121.65 points high at 10,551.70.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 1, 2020 at 498.65 points higher at 35,414.45. Nifty ended 127.95 points high at 10,430.05.
M&M, Hero MotoCorp, Titan Company, Tata Steel and Infosys were top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Axis Bank, Vedanta, HUL, Zee Entertainment and UPL.
