Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended lower on Friday. Sensex closed on August 14, 2020 at 433.15 points lower at 37,877.34. Nifty ended 122.05 points low at 11,178.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on August 13, 2020 at 59.14 points lower at 38,310.49. Nifty ended 7.95 points low at 11,300.45.
Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, M&M, Bajaj Finance and Axis Bank were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were JSW Steel, Coal India, Sun Pharma, Cipla and NTPC.
