Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 440.38 points lower at 66,266.82, whereas Nifty concluded 118.40 points down at 19,659.90.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 351.49 points lower at 66,707.20, whereas Nifty concluded 97.70 points up at 19,778.30.
The top losers on the Nifty included M&M, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer Products, Nestle India and Britannia Industries, while gainers were Cipla, Sun Pharma, Divis Labs, Apollo Hospitals and Bharti Airtel.
