Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on October 19, 2020, at 448.62 points higher at 40,431.60. Nifty ended 110.60 points high at 11,873.05.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 16, 2020, at 254.57 points high at 39,982.98. Nifty ended 82.10 points high at 11,762.45.
ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Nestle, SBI and GAIL were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Divis Labs, Eicher Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Cipla and Bajaj Auto.
