Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 13rd October at 452.74 points higher at 60,737.05. Nifty ended 169.80 points higher at 18,161.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 12 October at 148.53 points higher at 60,284.31. Nifty ended 46.00 points higher at 17,991.95.
Tata Motors, M&M, Tata Consumer Products, Power Grid Corp and ITC were among the major gainers on the Nifty. Maruti Suzuki, ONGC, Coal India, SBI Life Insurance and HUL were among the big losers.
