The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. On April 29, Sensex closed 460.19 points lower at 57,060.87. Nifty ended 142.50 points lower at 17,102.55.
In the previous season, on April 28, Sensex closed 701.67 points higher at 57,521.06. Nifty ended 206.65 points lower at 17,245.05.
Axis Bank, Coal India, Adani Ports, Power Grid and Bajaj Auto were among the top Nifty losers, while gainers were HDFC Life, Tata Consumer Products, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Sun Pharma and HDFC Bank.
