Equity Indices ended on higher note today. On August 08, Sensex closed 465.14 points higher at 58,853.07. Nifty ended 127.60 points higher at 17,525.10.
In the previous season, on August 05, Sensex closed 89.13 points higher at 58,387.93. Nifty ended 15.50 points higher at 17,397.50.
M&M, Coal India, Bajaj Finserv, Hindalco Industries and HDFC Bank were among the major gainers on the Nifty. The losers included BPCL, SBI, UltraTech Cement, Britannia Industries and Nestle India.
