Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 26th April at 508.06 points higher at 48,386.51. Nifty ended 143.65 points high at 14,485.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 23rd April at 202.22 points lower at 47,878.45. Nifty ended 74.45 points low at 14,331.70.
Axis Bank, UltraTech Cement, ICICI Bank, JSW Steel and Grasim Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Cipla, Britannia Industries, HCL Technologies, BPCL and HDFC Bank.
