Mumbai: Indian benchmark indices ended lower for the fifth consecutive session on October 25.
Sensex ended 522.82 points lower at 64,049.06, whereas Nifty concluded 159.60 points down at 19,122.15.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 825.74 points lower at 64,571.88, whereas Nifty concluded 260.90 points down at 19,281.75.
Top losers on the Nifty were Infosys, Cipla, NTPC, Apollo Hospitals and Adani Enterprises, while top gainers included Coal India, Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries, Tata Consumer Products and SBI.
