Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Tuesday. Sensex closed on July 28, 2020 at 558.22 points higher at 38,492.95. Nifty ended 168.75 points high at 11,300.55.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 27, 2020 at 194.17 points lower at 37,934.73. Nifty ended 65.45 points low at 11,128.70.
UltraTech Cement, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Motors, TCS and Grasim Industries were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Bharti Infratel, ICICI Bank, ONGC, Nestle and Asian Paints.
