Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 14 October at 568.90 points higher at 61,305.95. Nifty ended 176.80 points higher at 18,338.55.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 13rd October at 452.74 points higher at 60,737.05. Nifty ended 169.80 points higher at 18,161.75.
Adani Ports, Wipro, Grasim, ITC and HDFC Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Coal India, Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, HCL Tech and TCS.
