Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended lower on Wednesday. Sensex closed on July 22, 2020 at 58.81 points lower at 37,871.52. Nifty ended 29.65 points low at 11,132.60.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on July 21, 2020 at 511.34 points higher at 37,930.33. Nifty ended 140.05 points high at 11,162.25.
Among the sectors, Auto, IT and PSU banks dragged the most with Hero MotoCorp, BPCL and Hindustan Unilever being the top losers.
