Mumbai: Sensex closed on March 19, 2020 at 581.28 points lower at 28,288.23. Similarly, Nifty ended 205.35 points low at 8,263.45.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on March 18, 2020 at 1,709.58 points lower at 28,869.51. Similarly, Nifty ended 425.55 points low at 8,541.50.
ITC, Bharti Airtel, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank and Infosys were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bharti Infratel, Coal India, Zee Entertainment, Yes Bank and ONGC.
