Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on January 27 at 581.21 points lower at 57,276.94. Nifty ended 167.80 points higher at 17,110.15.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on January 25 at 366.64 points higher at 57,858.15. Nifty ended 128.85 points higher at 17,277.95.
HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, TCS and Wipro were the top Nifty losers, while gainers included Axis Bank, SBI, Maruti Suzuki, Cipla and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
