Indian benchmark indices ended lower on April 19.
Sensex ended 599.34 points higher at 73,088.33, whereas Nifty concluded 151.15 points up at 22,147.00.
Bajaj Finance, M&M, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki and JSW Steel were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bajaj Auto, HCL Technologies, Divis Labs, TCS and Nestle India.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 454.69 points lower at 72,488.99, whereas Nifty concluded 152.05 points down at 21,995.85.
