Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on October 6, 2020, at 600.87 points high at 39,574.57. Nifty ended 159.05 points high at 11,662.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 5, 2020, at 276.65 points high at 38,973.70. Nifty ended 86.40 points high at 11,503.35.
Tata Motors, HDFC, M&M, Adani Ports and IndusInd Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Britannia Industries, Coal India, Tata Steel, Hindalco Industries and Wipro.
