Mumbai: Benchmark indices closed flat today amid high volatility. Sensex closed on 12 February at 609.83 points higher at 52,154.13. Nifty ended 151.40 points high at 15,314.70.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 12 February at 12.78 points higher at 51,531.52. Nifty ended 10 points low at 15,163.30.
Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, Bajaj Finance and IndusInd Bank were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were HDFC Life, SBI Life Insurance, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Hero MotoCorp and TCS.
