Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex ended 610.37 points down at 65,508.32, whereas Nifty concluded 192.90 points lower at 19,523.55.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 173.22 points up at 66,118.69, whereas Nifty concluded 51.75 points higher at 19,716.45.
Major gainers on the Nifty were Coal India, ITC, Larsen & Toubro, Cipla and LTIMindtree, while losers were Titan Company, Grasim Industries, Hero MotoCorp, SBI and BPCL.
