Equity Indices ended higher today. On July 6, Sensex closed 616.62 points higher at 53,750.97. Nifty ended 178.95 points higher at 15,989.80.
In the previous season, on July 5, Sensex closed 100.42 points lower at 53,134.35. Nifty ended 24.50 points lower at 15,810.85.
Britannia Industries, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, HUL and Eicher Motors were among the top Nifty gainers. ONGC, Power Grid Corp, NTPC, HDFC Life and Hindalco Industries were among the losers on the index.
