Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended 629.07 points higher at 62,501.69, whereas Nifty concluded 178.20 points up at 18,499.35.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 98.84 points higher at 61,872.62, whereas Nifty concluded 35.75 points up at 18,321.15.
The biggest gainers on the Nifty included Reliance Industries, Sun Pharma, Divis Labs, HUL and Hindalco Industries, while losers were ONGC, Grasim Industries, Bajaj Auto, Bharti Airtel and Power Grid Corp.
