Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 19th March at 641.72 points higher at 49,858.24. Nifty ended 186.15 points high at 14,744.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 18th March at 585.10 points lower at 49,216.52. Nifty ended 138.70 points low at 14,582.60.
On the Nifty50 index, HUL, NTPC, JSW Steel, UPL and Tata Steel were the top gainers while Tech Mahindra, L&T, Bajaj Auto, Coal India, and Titan Company led the losses.
