Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on January 10 at 650.98 points higher at 60,395.63. Nifty ended 196.80 points higher at 18,009.50.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on January 07 at 142.81 points higher at 59,744.65. Nifty ended 66.80 points higher at 17,812.70.
UPL, Hero MotoCorp, Titan Company, SBI and Maruti Suzuki were among the top Nifty gainers. Losers were Wipro, Nestle, Divis Labs, Asian Paints and Power Grid Corp.
