Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed, on February 2, 695.76 points higher at 59,558.33. Nifty ended 203.15 points higher at 17,780.00.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 1, 848.40 points higher at 58,862.57. Nifty ended 237.00 points higher at 17,576.85.
IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, HCL Technologies, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Life were the top Nifty gainers, while losers included Tech Mahindra, Britannia Industries, UltraTech Cement, Hero MotoCorp and Nestle India.
