Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 18 December at 70.35 points higher at 46,960.69. Nifty ended 19.85 points high at 13,760.55.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 17 December at 223.88 points higher at 46,890.34. Nifty ended 8.00 points high at 13,740.70.
IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, ONGC, Maruti Suzuki and IOC were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Dr Reddy’s Lab, Bajaj Auto, Infosys, Wipro and Cipla.
