Mumbai: Sensex closed on December 16, 2019, at 70.99 points down at 40,938.72. Similarly, Nifty ended 32.75 points down at 12,053.95.
TCS, HCL Technologies, Tech Mahindra, Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC were among the top gainers today on Nifty. While Grasim Industries, Adani Ports, JSW Steel, ITC and Eicher Motors were among the top losers today.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 13, 2019, at 428.00 points up at 41,009.71. Similarly, Nifty ended 114.90 points up at 12,086.70.
The rupee is trading at 71.005 against the dollar.
