Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Thursday. Sensex closed on June 18, 2020 at 700.13 points higher at 34,208.05. Nifty ended 210.50 points high at 10,091.65.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on June 17, 2020 at 97.30 points lower at 33,507.92. Nifty ended 32.85 points low at 9,881.15.
Bajaj Finserv, Coal India, Zee Entertainment, Bajaj Finance and Vedanta were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Asian Paints, HUL, TCS, Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel.
