Indian benchmark indices ended lower on May 03.
Sensex ended 732.96 points lower at 73,878.15, whereas Nifty concluded 172.35 points down at 22,475.85.
Biggest Nifty losers were L&T, Maruti Suzuki, Reliance Industries, Nestle India and Bharti Airtel, while gainers included Coal India, Grasim Industries, ONGC, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Hindalco Industries.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 128.33 points higher at 74,611.11, whereas Nifty concluded 43.35 points up at 22,648.20.
