Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 25th March at 740.19 points lower at 48,440.12. Nifty ended 224.50 points low at 14,324.90.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 24th March at 871.13 points lower at 49,180.31. Nifty ended 252.90 points high at 14,561.85.
IOC, Maruti Suzuki, HUL, Bharti Airtel and Coal India were among the major losers on Nifty, while gainers were Tata Steel, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, ICICI Bank, HDFC and JSW Steel.
