Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher on Tuesday. Sensex closed on August 04, 2020 at 748.31 points higher at 37,687.91. Nifty ended 203.65 points high at 11,095.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on August 03, 2020 at 667.29 points lower at 36,939.60. Nifty ended 181.85 points low at 10,891.60.
Reliance Industries, Zee Entertainment, HDFC Bank, JSW Steel and Maruti Suzuki were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Tech Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech, BPCL and Tata Motors.
