Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on November 12 at 767.00 points higher at 60,686.69. Nifty ended 226.25 points higher at 18,102.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on November 11 at 433.13 points lower at 59,919.69. Nifty ended 130.50 points lower at 17,886.70.
Tech Mahindra, Hindalco Industries, Wipro, HDFC and Infosys were among the major Nifty gainers, while losers included Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel, Hero MotoCorp, Axis Bank and IOC.
