Mumbai: Equity Indices ended on lower note today. On Septmber 1, Sensex closed 770.48 points lower at 58,766.59. Nifty ended 216.50 points low at 17,542.80.
In the previous season, on August 30, Sensex closed 1,564.45 points higher at 59,537.07. Nifty ended 446.40 points high at 17,759.30.
Hindalco Industries, Reliance Industries, ONGC, TCS and SBI Life Insurance were among top losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Tata Consumer Products, Bajaj Finserv, Asian Paints, Eicher Motors and Hero MotoCorp.
