Benchmark indices ended higher today. On October 31, Sensex closed 786.74 points higher at 60,746.59, whereas Nifty ended 225.40 points up at 18,012.20.
In the previous season, on October 28, Sensex closed 203.01 points higher at 59,959.85, whereas Nifty ended 49.85 points up at 17,786.80.
UltraTech Cement, Eicher Motors, M&M, HDFC and Sun Pharma were among the top Nifty gainers, while losers included Apollo Hospitals, Dr Reddy’s Labs, NTPC, IndusInd Bank and Britannia Industries.
