Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex ended 79.22 points up at 65,075.82, whereas Nifty concluded 36.60 points higher at 19,342.65.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 110.09 points up at 64,996.60, whereas Nifty concluded 40.25 points higher at 19,306.05.
UPL, Hindalco Industries, Adani Ports, Hero MotoCorp and Tata Steel were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while the top losers included Bharti Airtel, HUL, Axis Bank, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Reliance Industries.
