Indian equity indices ended on lower note on November 12.
Sensex ended 820.97 points lower at 78,675.18, whereas Nifty concluded 257.85 points down at 23,883.45.
Biggest losers on the Nifty were Britannia Industries, HDFC Bank, NTPC, Asian Paints and Bharat Electronics, while gainers included Trent, HCL Technologies, Sun Pharma, Infosys and Reliance Industries.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 9.83 points higher at 79,496.15, whereas Nifty concluded 6.90 points down at 24,141.30.
