Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on November 1 at 831.53 points higher at 60,138.46. Nifty ended 258.00 points higher at 17,929.65
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 29 at 677.77 points lower at 59,306.93. Nifty ended 185.60 points lower at 17,671.65.
IndusInd Bank, Hindalco Industries, HCL Technologies, Bharti Airtel and Grasim Industries were among the major Nifty gainers. Losers included UPL, Bajaj Finserv, M&M and Nestle India.
