Mumbai: Equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on October 12, 2020, at 84.31 points high at 40,593.80. Nifty ended 22.05 points high at 11,936.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 09, 2020, at 326.82 points high at 40,509.49. Nifty ended 79.60 points high at 11,914.20.
ITC, Infosys, UPL, Dr Reddy’s and Asian Paints were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Bharti Airtel, GAIL, JSW Steel, Tata Motors and HDFC Life.
