Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 08th April at 84.45 points higher at 49,746.21. Nifty ended 54.75 points high at 14,873.80.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 07th April at 460.37 points higher at 49,661.76. Nifty ended 135.55 points high at 14,819.05.
JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Shree Cements, Titan Company and Hindalco were among top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included IndusInd Bank, SBI Life Insurance, Sun Pharma, HDFC Bank and ONGC.
