Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 17th May at 848.18 points higher at 49,580.73. Nifty ended 247.35 points high at 14,925.15
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 14th May at 41.75 points higher at 48,732.55. Nifty ended 15.50 points low at 14,681.00.
IndusInd Bank, SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and UPL were among the top gainers on the Nifty. Losers included Cipla, Bharti Airtel, Larsen and Toubro, SBI Life Insurance and Nestle India.
