Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 19th April at 882.61 points lower at 47,949.42. Nifty ended 258.40 points low at 14,359.45.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 16th April at 28.35 points higher at 48,832.03. Nifty ended 28.35 points high at 14,591.25.
Adani Ports, Power Grid Corp, ONGC, Hero MotoCorp and Bajaj Finserv were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Cipla, Britannia Industries, Wipro and Infosys.
