Indian equity indices ended higher on March 20.
Sensex ended 899.02 points higher at 76,348.06, whereas Nifty concluded 283.05 points up at 23,190.65.
Biggest gainers on the Nifty included Bharti Airtel, Titan Company, Bajaj Auto, BPCL, Britannia Industries, while losers were IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Trent, Shriram Finance.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 147.79 points higher at 75,449.05, whereas Nifty concluded 73.30 points up at 22,907.60.
Indian rupee ended higher at 86.36 per dollar on Thursday versus Wednesday’s close of 86.44.
