Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed, on March 14, 935.72 points higher at 56,486.02. Nifty ended 254.15 points higher at 16,884.60.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on March 11, 85.91 points higher at 55,550.30. Nifty ended 26.95 points higher at 16,621.85.
Infosys, SBI, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki and Axis Bank were among the top Nifty gainers, while losers were IOC, ONGC, HUL, Tata Motors and HDFC Life.
