Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 23rd September at 958.03 points higher at 59,885.36. Nifty ended 276.30 points higher at 17,822.95.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 22nd September at 77.94 points lower at 58,927.33. Nifty ended 15.35 points lower at 17,546.65.
Bajaj Finserv, Hindalco Industries, Tata Motors, Larsen and Toubro and Coal India were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included HDFC Life, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Nestle India, ITC and Tata Consumer Products.
