Mumbai: Benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 27th May at 97.70 points higher at 51,115.22. Nifty ended 36.40 points high at 15,337.85.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 26th May at 379.99 points higher at 51,017.52. Nifty ended 92.80 points high at 15,301.25.
Shree Cements, SBI, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Wipro were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included HDFC, ONGC, IOC, Bajaj Finance and HUL.
